Generate and configure a survey link in the Share tab. The tab is divided into two sections: Link preview and Variables.
This section displays your live survey link. Click Copy live link to copy it, or Take live survey to open it in a new tab. Any responses collected will be saved to your dataset.
If you use the live link for testing, delete any test data before sending the survey to real respondents.
Variables store information that can be appended to your survey URL as pass-in variables. This is useful when directing respondents from another survey or platform while carrying over previously collected data (e.g., respondent ID, age, location).
See the Variable manager and Linking surveys and passing data articles to learn more.
Closing a survey prevents new respondents from accessing it. Respondents already inside the survey when it's closed can finish, but anyone who started and left won't be able to return.
To close a survey, toggle Close survey on. The survey can be reopened at any time by toggling it off.
Respondents who attempt to access a closed survey will see a message in place of the survey. The message can be customized under survey text and messages in the survey settings.
