Introduction
System variables capture additional information about respondents. Choose which variables are recorded to each respondent's data record. To access these settings, from the Create tab, navigate to Settings and click System variables.

IP address
A unique string of characters that identifies a respondent's device. IP addresses are considered personally identifiable information. Ensure you are complying with applicable laws and regulations. Recording IP addresses is restricted to paid subscribers.
User agent
Technical details about the respondent's device, operating system, and browser.
